Apply to be a Full Time Video Editor
Senior Video Editor Application
I run a personal brand and need clean, intentional editing to help to build my personal brand.
I’m looking for an editor to focus purely on talking head short-form content.
We are looking for a senior video editor, someone who is committed to doing this as a career, is hard working and has a clean portfolio.
What you’ll do
Edit multiple Instagram Reels per day (2–4, depending on complexity)
Cut for clarity, pacing, and viewer retention
Add clean, readable subtitles
Follow reference styles consistently
Turn around edits within 24–48 hours
What matters most
Good editorial judgment (knowing what to cut and what to keep)
Strong instinct for short-form pacing
Clean, intentional edits (no over-editing or gimmicks)
Can work independently once style is established
Applies feedback once and keeps it applied
Working style
Clear references and expectations
Direct, respectful feedback
Ownership over day-to-day editing decisions
Consistency matters more than creativity for creativity’s sake
Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form content (Reels / TikTok / Shorts)
Portfolio with relevant short-form examples
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Reliable internet and availability during agreed hours
Once we have developed the style guide, you will be trusted to manage the edits and provide consistent output for the brand.
We are a small team of creatives, and are looking to build a long term relationship with a video editor.
You can work remotely or if you are local in either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Cebu City, Philippines, we can work together.
